Speaking as someone who has always been skeptical of the whole "coaching phenomenon", I think this is a great idea! (Probably because it's striking a chord in my world.)
I'm glad to see people like Marko investing more into youth workers than just "How to make your games grosser and bigger".
Wish I could be a part of it...
I'm curious...what do YOU do to grow?

Speaking as one who has only had eleven months in a relatively stable and protected full-time ministry experience during internship, I'd say this may have quite a bit of value. That being said, I think there are enough resources out there now for leadership development, bordering on too many. It might be time to start steering the ship toward some other pressing matters like church simplification (deprogramming) ecclesiology and preaching. That is where I am currently seeing the greatest need and where I am trying to grow. Then again, I'm still a bible college student so it's very likely that I'm missing something.
do it.
I agree with Josh. Need to stop starting programs, and start focusing on the ones we have/cutting back
I think the great part of this is that it is more than just a leadership development class. It's got a spiritual development component that so many "professional development" opportunities are missing.
Leanne, I think you misread Josh when he used the word "deprogramming". This has nothing to do with starting another program. It's personal growth.
